Next week we’ll be implementing a host of changes to our Tickets feature, which awards you tickets for submitting scores after you play games and lets you redeem them for chances to win prizes. You’ll find yourself racking up a ton of tickets as you play and submit scores, and you should make them work for you by entering prize giveaways (tickets are like frequent flyer miles, the whole point is to spend them on rewards!).

The BIG news is that we’re removing the limit on the number of tickets you can earn per day — now you can play any of our games to your heart’s content and earn unlimited tickets (in the current system, players are only able to earn up to 30 tickets per game a day, and only up to 200 tickets total a day). To encourage you to enter your tickets for prize entries, we’re also removing the limit on the number of tickets you can submit per day.

Here are all the ways you’ll be able to earn tickets when our new system goes live next week:

Submit any score after a game: 100 tickets
(Previously 10 tickets for any score, 15/20/30 for bronze/silver/gold-level scores. You will still be able to earn Trophies, but you’ll earn the same number of tickets every time you submit your score.)

Connect to Facebook: 25 tickets
Become a Facebook Fan: 25 tickets
Challenge a friend: 25 tickets
Post your score to Facebook: 25 tickets
(You can earn all four of these every time you submit a score)

In addition, all prizes will fall into one of four tiers: 10, 30, 50 or 100 tickets per entry, depending on how ‘big’ the prize is. This means that from now on, the highest number of tickets you’ll need to enter a drawing is 100, so you won’t need to save your tickets to enter a more expensive ‘better prize’ later on that would require more tickets.

The new Ticket system goes live later this week along with a redesigned homepage, so keep an eye out for it and let us know what you think!
