Game Releases
This was a big week for us! Not only did we launch our highly-anticipated new billiards game, Pool Sharks, to the general public (over 150,000 plays already!), but we also released a cute retro-art inspired platform game, Final Ninja, as well as relaunched our classic game Match Maker with slick new graphics.
We were also lucky enough to get picked up by the guys at casual game reviews site JayIsGames this week. They loved Pool Sharks, writing:
Pool Sharks is setting the standard for what a billiards game should be. The graphics are gorgeous, and the customizable options are a nice touch. …Dismiss it because of its genre and you’ll be missing a very well put together title. So what are you waiting for? Rack ‘em up!
Community Highlights
Our Holiday T-Shirt giveaway wrapped up this week, with Candystand Facebook fans Vicki, Patricia and Jennifer winning the last of our tees. Missed out? You can grab a shirt from our Candystand merchandise shop (we bet there’s a son/daughter, cousin, sibling or even parent that would love one of these for the holidays). And with any luck, we’ll be hosting some more giveaways soon!
Props to Twitter users @blessdmama, @vishiiii, @Elener, @Douglas0327, @darcybel and @gamingbits for pimping our stuff this week!
And a big thanks to Jessica Duff of Arkansas’ THV television station for recommending Candystand in her Web report! Check out her video segment below:
